☆☆ GETTING TO THE HOUSE ☆☆

☀ Essential Vehicle Information/Requirement:

A vehicle with AWD or 4WD (use our Shuttle Service if unavailable) and a minimum of 7.5 inches of ground clearance is required (e.g., Toyota 4Runner, Lexus GX, Toyota Tacoma, Nissan Frontier, Ford Bronco, Jeep Wrangler, Chevy Tahoe, and most trucks). Avoid 2WD Vehicles: Getting towed from the sand costs $400 and eats into your vacation time, so we advise against using a 2WD vehicle.

For a hassle-free arrival, ensure your vehicle is all-wheel or four-wheel drive with at least 7.5 inches of ground clearance. Remember, a tow from the sand can cost $400 and waste valuable vacation time, so it's best not to risk it with a 2WD vehicle.

Three Convenient Arrival Options:

Drive Your Own or a Rented AWD/4WD Vehicle: We suggest local rental companies that permit beach driving. Deflate your tires by 10-15 pounds at Historic Corolla Park before driving on the sand for better traction. Optimal driving conditions occur during low tide and cooler temperatures.

Utilize Satellite Parking: Use our vendor's satellite parking spots for overnight parking, located about 3 miles from the house. Those in your party with AWD/4WD vehicles can shuttle you to the house, ensuring a safe and unified arrival.

- The property is available for weekly rentals only during the peak season. For off-season rental minimums, please contact us at outerbankbeachhomes.
- The pool is operational from Memorial Day through September's end. Pool heating is available during the shoulder seasons for an extra charge. For pool use requests during the off-season, please inform us in advance as it involves additional costs and is subject to weather conditions.
